Using my referral links helps me keep educating Canadians about crypto independently, and on some platforms it comes with a real welcome offer. Today the only cash offers I can confirm on an official page are Newton (CAD 20 after you trade CAD 100 within 90 days) and Shakepay (CAD 20 each when you invest CAD 100 within 30 days). Everything else below says plainly when I cannot confirm an amount.
- Newton: CAD 20 welcome bonus through a friend's referral, per Newton's referral page
- Shakepay: CAD 20 for you and CAD 20 for the person who referred you
- Everyone else: check the current offer on the sign-up page before you deposit
Using my referral links not only helps me continue educating Canadians about crypto independently, but may also unlock a financial bonus. Thanks in advance for your support. I truly appreciate it!
| Exchange | Offer I Can Confirm | Link |

Which Exchange Bonuses Have I Removed From This Page?
Several names that used to sit in this table are gone on purpose. MEXC and Bitunix name Canada as a prohibited jurisdiction in their own terms, so a sign-up bonus is not available to Canadians there. Bitget does the same: its Terms of Use list Canada among the prohibited countries. KuCoin is on the CSA's banned list. I will not point you to a platform that rejects Canadians or has been banned, whatever the bonus says.
Are Exchange Sign-Up Bonuses Worth Chasing?
Rarely on their own. A bonus is a nice extra, but fees, CAD funding options and whether the platform is registered in Canada matter far more over time. Compare platforms in my ranking of the best crypto exchanges in Canada, then check the offer on the sign-up page, because terms change without notice.
What Changed For Referral Offers In October 2026?
- BitMEX ceased trading, so its referral links are dead for everyone.
- MEXC's user agreement was last updated and names Canada as a prohibited jurisdiction.
- Wealthsimple updated its crypto fee schedule: 0.5% flat plus spread, with Active Trader tiers down to 0%.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which Canadian Crypto Exchanges Have A Sign-Up Bonus?
Do I Have To Use A Referral Link To Get A Bonus?
Usually yes. Most offers attach to a referral link or code at sign-up, and they generally cannot be added afterwards. Open the link before you create the account.
Why Are Bitget, MEXC And KuCoin Not On This Page?
Bitget and MEXC name Canada as a prohibited jurisdiction in their own terms, and KuCoin is on the CSA's banned list. A bonus does not matter if you are not allowed to use the platform.
Is It Safe To Use A Referral Link?
A referral link only tags your sign-up. It does not change the fees you pay or the platform's security. You still choose a registered platform, verify your identity and check the offer terms yourself.
Do Bonuses Change?
Yes, often and without notice. That is why this page states only what an official page confirms and tells you to check the sign-up page for the current amount.
